Description: VALVE_ID: Unique alphanumeric identifier for each valve, prefix based on City assigned section, renumbered 1-17, from north to south. Valves preceeded by an "R" represent disabled valves that have either been removed or abandoned and no longer exist.ORDER_ID: Allows the dataset to be sorted appropriately with alpha characters.EDIT_DATE: Date the feature was last edited.ADDRESS: Full first line of the address.ADD_NUM: House number of address.STREET: Street name.LOCATION: Historical pre-GIS field for physical location before XY coordinates. No longer used.OFFSET: Assists in the symbolization of the valve clusters for paper map printing. Set the symbol with an offset based on the direction of this field.TURNS: Number of turns needed to close or open the valve.ANGLE: Historical field from AutoCAD, no longer used.OLD_ANNO: No longer used.INSTALLED: Install date of the valve.PIPE_TYPE: Material of pipe that valve is connected to. This is historical and not always used any longer. See adjacent main material for up to date info.VALVE_SIZE: Size in inches of the valve.VALV_FUNC: General function of the valve, usually MAINLINE, FIRELINE, or DOMESTIC. No fire hydrant foot valves, those are maintained as part of the Hydrant point asset.FLOW_DIR: Historical field from paper cards, gives a general idea of the flow of the main.PRES_ZONE: Pressure zone, not up to date, historical field.POSITION: Position of the valve, opened or closed.END_TYPE: Typically FL x MJ.VALVE_TYPE: Typically gate valves, GATE-RSEAT. NOTES: Notes fieldOPERATOR: Valve operating nut, typically SQUARE.VALVE_MANU: Valve manufacturer, not always updated, from historical database.LOC_NOTES: Location notes to assist in finding the valve.V_MODEL: Valve Model (if any recorded).DEPTH: Depth of valve.CARD_TYPE: No longer used.ENABLED: 0=FALSE 1=TRUE.
