Layer: EMC_Graves (ID: 8)

Name: EMC_Graves

Display Field: Lot_name

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: This feature class consists of all of the graves in EMC, represented by polygons. Graves are the third smallest unit of management, after Blocks and Lots. Lots typically contain 4-8 graves. Based pn the ID scheme, Block 6 and 7 have each grave assigned to its own lot. However, in reality, Block 6 and 7 only have graves, with no specific lots. Graves can be varying sizes, but with two main categories: Full and Ash. Full graves must be at least 8 feet long, and can fit one casket and 8 urns. Ash graves are under 8 feet long, and cannot hold a casket. Graves were created by copying the feature class EMC_Lots, and splitting them up according to a scanned map of EMC.
